On the first day of spring, as part of the starter program, the SPRING OF YOUTH begins - concerts with the participation of the best graduates of music schools of the second degree from Gdańsk and Gdynia. During two consecutive concert evenings on March 20 and 21, we will hear representatives of various instrumental sections in a wide classical repertoire.
Pianists: Kacper Kukliński, Miron Łajming, Franciszek Lewandowski, harpsichordists: Estera Laskowska and Joanna Liwo, violinists: Maria Pańczyk, Maria Paluszyńka and Adam Liley, cellist: Kacper Śliwiński, flautist: Marta Ossowska, horn player: Darren Magieri, percussionists will present their artistic creations. : Szczepan Kobiela and Fabian Czajka and accordionist: Ivan Zhitkov.
All participants are young musicians with significant artistic achievements - winners of international and national competitions. Among them are scholarship holders of the National Fund for Children (the Talented Programme), scholarship holders of the President of the City of Gdańsk and the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The program will include works by: Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Ponce, Rachmaninov, Repnikov.
Students represent: General Music School of the 1st and 2nd degree im. Feliks Nowowiejski in Gdańsk, Secondary School of Music. Fryderyk Chopin in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz and the Secondary School of Music. Zygmunt Noskowski in Gdynia.
